Jason Graves

Jase Graves serves as the Chair of the Language Development Department and was previously the Assistant Department Chair of English at Kilgore College since August 2004. Additionally, Jase has been a columnist for Cagle Cartoons Newspaper Syndicate since 2017 and has contributed as a freelance humor columnist for Kilgore News Herald, Shreveport Times, and Texas Escapes Magazine since February 2017, as well as a freelance humor blogger for Longview News Journal since January 2017. Prior professional experience includes being an English Professor at Panola College from December 2000 to August 2004 and at Texas State Technical College from December 1999 to December 2000, as well as working as a Women’s Health Specialist for Eli Lilly and Company from September 1998 to December 1999. Educationally, Jase holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Texas A&M University and two Master of Arts degrees in the same field from Stephen F. Austin State University.
