Micah Goodding

Micah Goodding is an experienced theatre educator and artist currently serving as the Director of Theatre and Instructor at Kilgore College Theatre since August 2014, where extensive knowledge in theatrical skills is developed and implemented in educational settings. As a resident acting company member with the Texas Shakespeare Festival since May 2014, Micah performs in multiple productions each season and provides educational workshops for aspiring performers. Prior guest lecturing at Nebraska Wesleyan University involved active workshops and lectures covering various theatrical techniques and methodologies. Past roles include theatre educator at Artsview Children's Theatre and Pine Tree High School, as well as a speech educator and youth program coordinator, showcasing a diverse background in educational curriculum development and production management. Micah holds an MFA in Acting from the University of Essex and both a Bachelor's degree in Theatre and Visual Arts from Stephen F. Austin State University and an Associate of Arts in Theatre from Kilgore College.
