María Laura Villegas

María Laura Villegas has been working in the tech industry since 2011. María Laura started their career at Grupo Prominente as an Analista de Testing, where their tasks included specifying and executing test cases, installing and configuring testing environments, and using Microsoft Sharepoint as a repository for QA information. In 2012, they moved to PwC as an Asistente de Auditoría y Consultoría en Sistemas, where their tasks included evaluating and analyzing IT controls, reviewing software platforms, and conducting internal control reviews. In 2014, they joined Globant as a QA, where their tasks included specifying and executing test cases, using Team Foundation Server as a repository, evaluating test results, and communicating with clients. In 2020, they became a Product Owner at Acámica and in 2021 they moved to invertirOnline.com as a Product Lead and to dLocal as a Technical Product Manager. Currently, they are a Product Manager at Kilimo.

María Laura Villegas completed their degree in Ingeniería en Sistemas de Información from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional in 2011. In 2004, they also completed the Preliminary English Test (PET) from the University of Cambridge.
