John Dye has extensive experience in leadership and operational management within both educational and military contexts. Serving as the Director for School Safety at Killeen Independent School District since March 1994, John Dye oversees safety, security, and emergency operations for 53 campuses catering to 44,000 students. Prior to this role, John's military career spanned over two decades, culminating in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army, with significant assignments including Battalion Commander for the United States Army Criminal Investigation Command at Fort Hood. John Dye holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from Webster University and a Bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from Texas A&M University.
