James Matthew Popovitch Jr., MBA, EIT has held various roles in the engineering and customer service industries since 2008. From 2008-2012, they worked as a Customer Service representative at Market Basket, where they improved and refined their ability to communicate and work with other employees as a team. In 2012, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Ruger Firearms, where they engineered numerous and more efficient fixtures and gauges for the SP101 Double Action Revolver cell. From 2013-2015, they worked as a Tactical Designer at Graphic Packaging International, where they designed and developed cartons for Fortune 500 Food Companies. From 2015-2017, they worked as a Fixture Design Engineer at Everett Charles Technologies, where they used Solidworks to create and modify various plates and parts for complex electro-mechanical fixtures. From 2017-2021, they worked as a Structural Design Engineer at Pro Star Aviation, a CIM Work Center Product/Quality Engineer at TRM Microwave, and an Engineering Manager and Mechanical Engineer at Kimball Physics. At Kimball Physics, they acted as Master Planner for the Multipass TEM (MTEM) project, maintaining and driving the project schedule and coordinating the resolution of design and manufacturing issues.

James Matthew Popovitch Jr. earned their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire in 2013. James obtained their EIT (Engineer In Training) certification from NCEES in December of 2013. In 2017, they began their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Engineering/Industrial Management from Southern New Hampshire University, which they completed in 2021. In August of 2020, they obtained their CSWA (Certified Solidworks Associate) certification from Dassault Systèmes.
