Matthew Williams

Matthew W. currently serves as the Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Kimball Union Academy, where responsibilities include developing a DEI-specific strategic plan and facilitating professional Board development. Previous experience includes roles as Humanities Curricular Chair and English Teacher at The White Mountain School, where Matthew oversaw a team and utilized data analytics for institutional changes while redesigning curricula for inclusivity. At Lawrence Academy, Matthew served as Multicultural Coordinator and English Teacher, managing identity-based groups and coaching sports. Additional experience includes working as an Admissions Counselor at Bates College with a focus on diversity recruitment and various student leadership roles at Bowdoin College. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Bowdoin College.
