Aqeelah Rufai

Aqeelah (Kemi) Rufai, MBA, currently serves as a Civil Analyst at Kimley-Horn since May 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Mechanical Engineer at Williams, focusing on Facilities Engineering for Gulf West assets from January 2022 to April 2023. Aqeelah has also held various positions at Oklahoma State University, including Student Ambassador for the Division of Institutional Diversity and a Scholar with the Oklahoma Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation, where participation in undergraduate research occurred. Internships at Williams involved Mechanical Integrity Engineering and Engineering & Constructing Standards, emphasizing process improvements and asset management. Aqeelah holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
