Caitlin Walsh

Caitlin Walsh is a Civil Analyst at Kimley-Horn, beginning in January 2024, following a tenure as the Director of Communication and Outreach at the University of Dayton Hanley Sustainability Institute from September 2020 to December 2023, where responsibilities included oversight of internal and external communications and support for branding initiatives. As the Zero Waste Team Leader at the Hanley Sustainability Institute, Caitlin managed a student composting program and organized zero waste events, achieving a 98% diversion of waste. Prior experience includes an engineering internship at Dandelion Africa, where consulting support was provided for construction projects in Kenya, and a transportation co-op at Baxter & Woodman, assisting with transportation design processes. Caitlin also served as Vice President of Finance for Kappa Delta Sorority, managing a chapter budget of over $100,000, and worked at Culver's Restaurants, delivering customer service in a fast-paced environment. Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton, earned in 2023.
