Catherine Sydnor

Catherine Sydnor, PE, is a seasoned Roadway Engineer at Kimley-Horn since July 2015, specializing in roundabout and interchange design and serving as the Bentley CADD Coordinator for the Atlantic Region. With experience as an Analyst, Catherine has worked on various roadway design projects for DOT and municipal clients, including roundabouts, highways, and traffic signals. In addition to professional engineering roles, Catherine is the APWA Mid-Atlantic Chapter Secretary, contributing to a global network of public works professionals. Prior experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the Virginia Center for Transportation Innovation and Research, where Catherine conducted data collection and laboratory tests on concrete technologies, and as a Structural Engineering Intern at Stantec, focusing on bridge rehabilitation projects. Catherine earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia.
