Justin Kinne

Justin Kinne, P.E. is a Traffic Engineer at Kimley-Horn, a position held since May 2019, with a relocation to Austin, Texas in August 2021. Justin leads the production of traffic signal and illumination plans for key mobility projects in Austin and has taken on design lead responsibilities for TxDOT pedestrian safety projects in San Antonio. Previous roles include producing curb ramp and traffic signal plans to municipal standards and conducting Traffic Impact Analyses for private developments. Justin's experience also includes a summer internship at Kimley-Horn and serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Center for Transportation Research at UT Austin, focusing on connected and autonomous vehicle technology. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Justin's career began in retail as a sales representative.
