Sayem Ali, P.E., is an experienced electrical engineer with a focus on substation design and project execution. Currently serving as the Lead Substation Engineer at Kimley-Horn since April 2023, Ali manages an electrical team to enhance substation projects in solar generation, transmission, and distribution sectors. Prior to this role, Ali worked at EVS, Inc. as a Senior Substation Engineer, leading protection & controls and physical design for solar PV interconnect substations. Additional experience includes positions at Black & Veatch and Stanley Consultants, where Ali engineered controls and physical design for distribution substations.
