Vince Vanderlaan

Vince Vanderlaan has extensive work experience in human resources, with their most recent role being the Vice President of People at Kin Insurance starting in November 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Consultant, serving as a Fractional HR Leader from January 2023 to November 2023. Vince also held the position of Vice President of People at Kin Insurance from August 2021 to November 2022.

Before joining Kin Insurance, Vanderlaan worked as the Senior Director of Human Resources at NewCold from May 2020 to July 2021. Vince also worked at ComPsych as a Senior Manager of Human Resources from November 2015 to April 2020, where they managed a team of HR professionals and oversaw global HR operations.

Furthermore, they served as the Training & Development Manager at Total Finance & Car Outlet from April 2015 to November 2015. At ComPsych, Vanderlaan held multiple roles, including HR Claims & Training Manager from September 2013 to April 2015 and Corporate FMLA Trainer from January 2012 to September 2013. In these roles, they managed training programs, developed course content, and facilitated training sessions.

Vince'scareer began as a Business Analyst at HealthLink from April 2011 to November 2011, where they analyzed data and acted as a liaison between executive management and IT. Throughout their career, Vanderlaan has demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in human resources and training and development.

Vince Vanderlaan attended the University of Chicago but did not receive a degree. Vince later studied at the University of Iowa and completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree.
