Cynthia Weaver

Cynthia Weaver is a seasoned leader in the field of children's and mental health services, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Kinark Child and Family Services since October 2015. With a robust background in strategic initiatives as a member of Kinark's Executive Team, Cynthia has contributed significantly to one of Ontario's largest community-based children's services organizations, overseeing a workforce of 750 to 800 employees. Prior experience includes serving as Administrative Director at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences from September 2010 to September 2015, where responsibilities encompassed various services including Adolescent Services and Quality/Peer/Patient Experience. Additionally, Cynthia held the role of Clinical Manager at Ontario Shores, managing Neuropsychiatry Services and the Nursing Relief Pool. Education includes a Master's degree in Social Work from York University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work with Honours from Carleton University.
