Kim van Haaster

Kim van Haaster is an experienced filmmaker and director with a strong background in creating non-fiction content aimed at young audiences. Currently serving as the Workshopleider for Ceuvel tours at Kabaalmakers since November 2022, Kim facilitates student groups in producing vlogs focused on climate and sustainability. As the manager of Stichting Kabaalmakers, expertise lies in developing content collaboratively with youth. Kim also directs and produces the short documentary "In Havana," showcasing the lives and aspirations of children in Cuba. As the owner of Kim Films since 2011, Kim specializes in promotional videos and documentaries across various countries. Additional experience includes film production roles at Kinderopvang Op Stoom and Play, no matter what!, as well as jury membership for the Kunstbende talent program. Kim holds an MSc in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Amsterdam and has received further training at IDFAcademy.
