Conall Dempsey has a diverse work experience spanning from 2004 to the present. Conall began their career as a Product Design Engineering Intern at Eaton Corporation in 2004 and later worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Kimberly-Clark in 2005. From 2006 to 2009, they served as a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, where they collaborated with Fortune 500 clients to solve business problems using industry knowledge and customized software solutions.
Conall then transitioned into the field of design, working as a Creative Catalyst at Embrace, a social-business startup, in 2010. There, they contributed to the design and improvement of safety elements for Embrace's Infant Warmer, working directly with engineers and external manufacturers. Subsequently, they joined lbdesign as a Strategist, where they leveraged their design background and international work experience to help the consultancy expand its North American market.
Starting in 2012, Conall held the position of Manager, User Experience and Product Strategy at Unilife, a mid-sized medical product company. Conall led a team that conducted user research globally, working closely with pharmaceutical brands to develop customized wearable injectors for clinical and at-home pharmaceutical therapy markets.
From 2016 to 2020, Conall served as the Director of User Research and Human Factors at Bresslergroup. Conall led the user research team and delivered valuable insights to clients, influencing product strategy and implementation across various industries.
In 2020, Conall joined YourBio Health as the Vice President, Head of Product Strategy. In this role, they defined and implemented the company's product vision, strategy, and marketing for medical device manufacturing. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Strategy at Kindeva Drug Delivery, a position they assumed in 2022.
Conall Dempsey began their education in 2001 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Conall completed their undergraduate studies in 2005. In 2002, during their time at the University of Illinois, Conall participated in a study abroad program at the University of Limerick, focusing on Mechanical Engineering. Following their undergraduate studies, they joined Carnegie Mellon University in 2011 and completed a Master of Product Development degree in Integrated Product Development in 2012.
