Jane Downs

Jane Downs has a Master's degree in Biological Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Houston-Main Campus. As a Home Care Specialist at Kindred at Home since December 2015, Jane assists individuals with mental illness in daily living skills, medication management, and maintaining medical appointments while serving as a liaison between patients and psychiatrists. Previous experience includes a Research Assistant Intern role in the Social Influences and Health Behaviors Lab at the University of Houston, where responsibilities encompassed conducting research in addictive behaviors, grant writing, participant management, and statistical analysis. Academic coursework includes psychopharmacology, neuroscience research, and research design.
