Alice Wells

Co Founder at Kindred Black

Alice Wells has over 15 years of work experience. Alice began their career in 2003 as an Intern at The Center for Creative Photography. In 2006, they worked as a Gallery Assistant at Jen Bekman Projects and as a Studio Manager at Brian Ulrich. Alice then worked as Creative Director, Art Director, and Designer/Photographer at MZ WALLACE from 2008 to 2015. In 2015, they co-founded Kindred Black, a retail studio sourcing and curating luxury lifestyle goods that are eco-responsible, craftsman produced, and ethically manufactured.

Alice Wells received their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Photography from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2007, having started their studies there in 2003. In 2006, they also attended The New York Studio Program, AICAD.
