Amirpasha Shirazinia

Amirpasha Shirazinia is currently the R&D Manager at Kindred Group plc and the Data Science Manager at Lunar, where leadership of a cross-country team of six data scientists focuses on developing and deploying predictive AI and machine learning models in areas such as credit risk, AML, and financial crime prevention. Previously, Amirpasha served as Lead Data Scientist at Lunar, managing a team and overseeing the creation of the Data Science team. Experience also includes a role as Senior Data Scientist at Swedbank, emphasizing customer churn prevention and sentiment analysis, and as a Data Scientist at Ericsson, where work on a recommender system addressed error-prone processes. Amirpasha's academic background includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a fellowship at Uppsala University, contributing to teaching and research in wireless IoT networks.
