Kenley Obas

Kenley Obas has worked in the technology field for over two decades. Kenley began their career in 1996 as a Software Support Manager and Senior Technical Consultant at the University of Massachusetts. In 2004, they moved to Alabama State University, where they held the positions of Assistant Professor of Technology, Associate VP of IT - Academic Computing, and Academic Computing Coordinator. In 2009, they joined Kindred Technology Group, LLC, where they currently serve as the Managing Director. Kindred Technology Group is a world-class information technology firm based in Montgomery, Alabama, offering services for web development, application integration, application development, and data visualization.

Kenley Obas has an education history that includes a Doctorate of Education from The University of Alabama Graduate School in Higher Education Administration, a Master of Education from University of Massachusetts Amherst in Learning, Media and Technology; Instructional Technologies, and a Bachelor of Science from University of Massachusetts Amherst in Natural Resources; Consumer Studies. Additionally, Obas has obtained several certifications from IBM, including an IBM Artificial Intelligence Practitioner - Instructor Certificate (April 2021), an Enterprise Design Thinking - Instructor Certificate (February 2021), an IBM Data Science Practitioner - Instructor Certificate (January 2021), and an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner (December 2020).
