Kate Tierney

Kate Tierney is a dedicated graphic designer currently employed as both a Graphic Designer and Office Assistant at Columbia College Chicago, where responsibilities include creating event posters and various graphic updates. Simultaneously, Kate holds a Graphic Design Intern position at Motorola Mobility, following a previous internship with the company focused on graphic design marketing. Other experience includes serving as a Self Defense Instructor at Kinema Fitness Inc, where lesson plans are developed and training sessions are led, and a previous role as a Graphic Design Intern at W. Kim Tae Kwon Do, where branding and marketing visuals were created. Further experience includes working as a Barista at Cook Street Coffee. Kate Tierney is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with minors in Fashion Studies and Fashion Communications at Columbia College Chicago, expected to graduate in May 2024.
