Aaron Bestick is currently the Software Manager at Kinetic since January 2024. Before that, Aaron served as the Senior Software Engineer - Vehicle Positioning at Waymo from November 2019 to October 2023 and as the Principal Software Engineer at Velodyne Lidar, Inc. from July 2019 to November 2019. Aaron also has a background as a Lidar Mapping Lead at Mapper, where Aaron built a lidar SLAM system and worked on lidar localization. Aaron completed their PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley in 2017.
