Juraj Krištofík

Juraj Krištofík has a work experience spanning over 13 years. Juraj started their career as a Senior Programmer at Accenture Technology Solutions in 2007. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a DWH Consultant at Teradata, where they administered Teradata databases and managed performance tuning, security, and backup policies. From 2012 to 2014, Juraj worked at Raiffeisen Informatik as a Teradata Lead DBA, leading a team responsible for all operational aspects of Teradata, including solution design, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Juraj then joined Teradata in 2014 as a Senior DWH Consultant, delivering business value to clients through various roles such as technical lead, performance tuning expert, and security solution designer. Since 2018, Juraj has been working at Kinetica as a Sr. Solutions Architect.

Juraj Krištofík completed their Master's degree in Insurance from Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave from 2001 to 2006. Juraj then pursued an Applied MSc in data science and artificial intelligence from Data ScienceTech Institute, which they are expected to complete in 2023. In addition to their formal education, Juraj has obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in June 2018, Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach by University of Washington in February 2017, Teradata Aster Certified Professional 6.10 from Teradata in July 2016, and Teradata 12 Certified Master from Teradata in September 2014. Juraj has also completed various online courses on topics such as Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, Reproducible Research, and The Data Scientist's Toolbox, all through Coursera, in June 2014.
