Christy Moreno

Christy Moreno is an accomplished media executive with extensive experience in the broadcasting industry. Currently serving as President and General Manager of KING 5 Media Group since August 2021, Christy previously held various leadership roles at TEGNA, including President & General Manager of WHAS11 and News Director positions at 9NEWS and WBIR. Early career experience includes serving as News Director at KENS5 and Executive Producer at Fox Broadcasting Company, where responsibilities included managing a morning newscast and overseeing content development. Christy began in the industry as an Associate Producer at KPRC-TV and a Producer at KAUZ. Christy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma.
