Omar Alturkistani

Omar Alturkistani is a PhD candidate in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, expected to graduate in May 2025. Since January 2020, Omar has been engaged in advanced research while concurrently serving as the Utilities Manager for King AbdulAziz University, a role that has involved overseeing chiller plants and central boilers for hospital and medical areas since September 2010. Omar has also managed chiller plants and contributed as a mechanical engineer, providing consultancy for the construction of a chiller plant to supply chilled water to KAU buildings. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering from King Abdulaziz University (2005-2010) and a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the same institution (2012-2014).
