Michael White

Michael White currently serves as Deputy Chief of Staff and previously held roles as State and Tribal Relations Director and State Relations Director at King County, WA since July 2022. His legal experience includes working as an Associate Attorney at Barnard Iglitzin & Lavitt LLP from August 2021 to July 2022 and as a Rule 9 Law Clerk at the Washington State Office of the Attorney General in summer 2020, where responsibilities included assisting in tax litigation. Michael's prior experience includes a legal internship at Barnard Iglitzin & Lavitt LLP and over a decade as a firefighter with the Valley Regional Fire Authority. As a Board Member of the Law Enforcement and Fire Fighters Plan 2 Retirement Board, Michael was involved in overseeing the pension plan's management, while also serving as a Legislative Liaison for the Washington State Council of Fire Fighters. Michael holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Washington, along with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Arizona State University and two Associate of Arts degrees from Bellevue College.
