Senayet Negusse

Senayet Negusse, M.Ed., currently serves as a Civil Rights Manager with King County, WA, where responsibilities include advising on immigrant and refugee policies and providing staffing for the King County Immigrant and Refugee Commission. Prior roles include Immigration & Language Equity Manager at the Office of Equity & Social Justice, where systems to enhance language access were developed. Experience spans positions at Puget Sound ESD as an Early Learning Coach, United Way of King County as an Education Policy Intern, and various other roles focused on community engagement, educational support, and program development. Senayet holds a Master of Education in Education Policy and Leadership, as well as dual Bachelor's degrees in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Early Childhood and Family Studies from the University of Washington.
