Vuen Pahn

Vuen Pahn is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as the Business and Finance Officer IV for King County, WA since March 2022, providing strategic leadership to the BHRD finance team and managing budget development and preparation. Prior to this role, Vuen worked for the City of Seattle from 2017 to April 2022, where positions included Principal Accountant, Accounting Manager OOC, and Senior Accountant, overseeing accounting functions and systems for the Seattle Fire Department. Experience also includes serving as a Senior Accountant at Providence Health & Services, where key business insights were provided through quantitative analysis, and as an Accountant at Waste Management, participating in financial reviews and variance analysis. Earlier career roles involved community leadership as Community Director for the Iu-Mien American Association and progressive accounting positions at Weyerhaeuser, where responsibilities included financial statement generation and consolidation. Vuen holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the UW Foster School of Business.
