Dr John Sedgewick Ph.D.

Dr John Sedgewick PhD is an experienced nursing educator and leader currently serving as the Director of Nursing Education & Saudization at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre since December 2013. With a robust background in nursing education, Dr Sedgewick also chairs the Accreditation Committee for the European Dialysis Transplant Nurses Association / European Renal Care Association and has been involved in education initiatives across the Middle East and Africa. Previous roles include Director of Education, Research & Nursing Practice Development at the International Medical Center and Director of Multi Professional Programmes at Teesside University. Dr Sedgewick's educational qualifications include a PhD in Nursing (Nephrology) from The University of Sheffield and various advanced degrees in nursing and health sciences from prestigious institutions.
