Omar Noor is a Medical Physicist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital since May 2014, bringing extensive experience in healthcare and academic settings. Previously, Omar worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology from May 2010 to June 2013, where research focused on developing an energy compensated Geiger Muller detector and supervising laboratory activities. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Health Physicist at Canberra Industries from August 2008 to August 2009, managing various projects related to gas filled detectors and conducting efficiency tests on radiation monitors. Omar holds a Master of Applied Science in Nuclear Engineering from Ontario Tech University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Health/Medical Physics from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology.
