Demi Taveras

Demi Taveras is an experienced editorial professional currently serving as Features Editor at King Features, a unit of Hearst, since May 2021, following previous roles as Editorial Production Assistant and Pagination Editor. Prior experience includes serving as Editor In Chief at Nonahood News, where responsibilities included providing monthly content and reporting on local events in Lake Nona from May 2019 to July 2022. Demi has also worked as an Editorial Intern at Hallelujah Trends Inc. and as Copy Chief at Cypress Dome, establishing copyediting standards and managing schedules for copyeditors. Additionally, Demi was Social Media Coordinator for The Florida Review, focusing on social media engagement and assisting with the Annual Report. Demi graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2019.
