Jim Keefe

Jim Keefe is a seasoned cartoonist and graphic artist with extensive experience in the comic strip industry, currently serving as the artist for the Sally Forth comic strip at King Features Syndicate, Inc., a position held since July 1989. In addition to this role, Jim produces Sunday color guides for various top comic strips and has worked as a writer and artist for the Flash Gordon newspaper strip. As the sole proprietor of Keefe Studios, Jim provides graphic art for multiple syndicated features and has collaborated with clients such as Viz Media and Manuscript Press. Jim has also contributed to the education of aspiring artists as an adjunct faculty member at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, teaching various comic creation courses, while previously holding positions as an artist assistant and a letterer/retoucher for VIZ Media. Education includes training from the Joe Kubert Art School and Atelier Lack.
