King + King Architects
Raquel Rojas, Assoc. AIA, is an architectural designer at King + King Architects, beginning in January 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Intern at the School of Architecture at Syracuse University from August 2021 to January 2024, a Designer at DLR Group during the summer of 2023, and an Architectural Intern at in-ARCHITECTS in mid-2022. Raquel also worked as an Interior Design Intern at DLR Group in 2021 and served as a Resident Advisor at the RIT Center for Residence Life from 2018 to 2021, providing support to students adjusting to new environments. As a co-founder of MO:KI, Raquel designed modular units to enhance kitchen usability and showcased this work at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in 2019. Educational achievements include a Master of Architecture from Syracuse University (2023) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Rochester Institute of Technology (2021) and NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (2020).
