Lauren Payne

Lauren Payne (Curilla), CPA, currently serves as Texas Farming Controller and previously held the role of Accounting Manager at King Ranch, Inc. since November 2018. Prior experience includes working at EY from September 2014 to November 2018 as a Senior Accountant, gaining expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance, as well as data analytics and Robotic Process Automation implementations. Lauren's background also features a role as a Staff Accountant and Co-op Student/Accounting Assistant at Canexus from May 2011 to April 2014, with responsibilities in accounts payable, receivable, financial reporting, taxation, and strategic planning. Lauren earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Calgary and also studied at Université Francois Rabelais.
