William Gordon

William "Bill" Gordon is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Partner at King & Spalding since December 2018. With extensive experience in cross-border transactions, litigation, and compliance, Gordon previously held advisory roles at Momentum Advisory and Events and served on the boards of the Executive Service Corps and CHILDREN AT RISK. Notably, Gordon was the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Hercules Offshore from February 2014 to November 2018, where responsibilities included overseeing legal and compliance matters for a global workforce. Earlier in the career, Gordon worked as a Cross-Border Regulatory Enforcement and Litigation Attorney at Steptoe & Johnson LLP, focusing on international regulatory compliance, following graduation from Harvard Law School in 2007. Gordon also possesses a Bachelor's degree in Economics and International Relations from Pomona College.
