David D Smith is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in IT lifecycle management and information assurance. Currently serving as a Cybersecurity Specialist at King Technologies, Inc. since December 2020, David interfaces with management and cybersecurity professionals within the Department of Defense, addressing critical cybersecurity issues. Prior to this role, David held successive positions at Rome Research Corporation, Strategic Data Systems, and SOLUTE, where responsibilities included serving as a Subject Matter Expert for Information Assurance and managing IT lifecycle for multiple systems supporting the Commander Naval Air Forces Pacific. David began a military career as an Information Systems Technician in the US Navy, culminating in a role as Information Assurance Manager aboard the USS Mustin. David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer and Information Sciences from National University.
