Jose Goncalves

Jose Goncalves is a highly experienced data scientist currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at King since March 2022. Prior to this role, Jose held the same title at Moneysupermarket Group from September 2018 to February 2022 and worked as a Data Scientist at Virgin from July 2016 to September 2018. With extensive experience at dunnhumby from January 2012 to July 2016, Jose progressed through various roles including Senior Data Scientist, Senior Analyst, and Technical Architect, contributing significantly to data architecture and analytical methodologies. Earlier in his career, Jose was a Senior Consultant at Closer Consulting and engaged in astrophysics research at the Observatório Astronómico de Lisboa and the University of Helsinki. Jose earned a PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the University of Lisbon and holds a BSc in Physics from the same institution.
