Maddy Wang Renström

Maddy Wang Renström is an accomplished professional in machine learning and data science, currently serving as Director of Machine Learning at King since 2013, with a progressive career including roles as Associate Director, Engineering Manager, and Data Science Tech/Team Lead. Maddy was among the initial Data Scientists in the King Stockholm office, contributing to data-driven decisions for popular games like Candy Crush Saga. Maddy also volunteers with the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest since 2009, fosters data analysis and business strategy development as a Senior Consultant at dePath, and has held research and data scientist positions at P1.cn (Tantan) and previous research assistant roles at the University of Alberta and University of Ottawa. Maddy holds two PhDs in Computer Science from the University of Alberta and the University of Ottawa, further showcasing extensive expertise in machine learning techniques and their applications in diverse projects.
