Hastings Singh has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Hastings started their career at Vodafone Australia, where they held roles as a Wholesale Account Manager and Head of Wholesale Services. Hastings then moved to roles as National Channel Manager and National Sales Manager - Non Branded Business Channels within the same company.
Singh then joined Research In Motion (BlackBerry) and held various positions, including Director of Distribution and Channels - South East Asia, Vice President - Sales and Distribution, and Vice President and Managing Director - South Asia. During their time at BlackBerry, they were responsible for significant market share and unit sales growth in the region and developed successful supply and demand side strategies.
Singh later joined Apple as the Director of iPhone Sales, South Asia, where they led the sales team across 18 country markets. Hastings created a new regional growth strategy for iPhone in South Asia and achieved 2x sales growth, delivering USD5bn in annual revenue.
Currently, Singh is the Chief Customer Officer at Kingfisher Mobile Limited. Hastings is responsible for improving affordability, simplicity, and customer experience for smartphone users through solutions marketed and delivered through mobile carriers. As an entrepreneurial team, they work with visionary partners and clients to originate, iterate, and build ideas for revolutionary smartphone experiences. Hastings also served as the Managing Director - Asia Pacific at Kingfisher, where they helped develop core concepts and sustainable financial value for carrier clients in the Asia-Pacific region.
Hastings Singh pursued a Bachelor of Business degree in Economics and Finance at the University of Technology Sydney. After completing their undergraduate studies, they went on to join the University of Oxford, where they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation, focusing on the field of Business Strategy and Innovation. The duration of their studies at the University of Oxford was from 2013 to 2015.
