Sapna Dutta

Sapna Dutta is the Group General Counsel and a member of the Executive Committee at Kingfisher plc since October 2023, leading legal affairs for an international home improvement company with over 2,000 stores across eight European countries. Previously, Dutta served as Global SVP & General Counsel for Reckitt from July 2017 to September 2023, overseeing legal, ethics, and compliance for the Global Health, Wellness & Supplements business. Dutta's experience also includes roles at AstraZeneca, where responsibilities encompassed global legal affairs in respiratory, inflammation, and autoimmune sectors, as well as M&A. Dutta began a legal career as an Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, advising on various corporate transactions and governance. Early work includes presenting for the BBC Asian Network. Dutta holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
