Alia Wakileh

Director of External Affairs & Institutional Planning at King's Academy

Prior to joining King's Academy in 2006 as dean of academic affairs, Alia Fada Wakileh worked at Jordan’s Jubilee School, where she held various positions such as assistant to the headmaster for research and development, assistant to the headmaster for the Center for Excellence in Education and director of admissions.

Ms. Wakileh has participated in a number of courses and workshops in the United States and the United Kingdom on the education of young children. She has authored several publications tackling the characteristics of gifted and other Jordanian students. Her achievements and expertise have been widely recognized, with awards received from former United States President Bill Clinton, the American Center of Oriental Research and Jordan Radio and Television Corporation.

Ms. Wakileh holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in public administration, as well as a master’s degree in measurement and evaluation from the University of Jordan. She currently serves as director of external affairs and institutional planning at King’s. In 2021, she was appointed secretary to the Board of Trustees.
