Noor Eddin Amer

Appointed to the King’s Academy Board of Trustees in 2020, Noor Eddin Amer has a long history with King’s, first as a student, then as the first King’s alumnus to join the board. Born and raised in Sahab, Amer attended the Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) at King’s prior to enrolling as a student in 2008. After graduating with the King Abdullah II award in 2012, Amer enrolled in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), completing a Bachelor’s degree in computer software engineering and a Master’s in computer science. He worked as a senior member of the technical staff at Oracle in Cambridge, Massachusetts before joining Facebook in New York as a solutions engineer.
