Vivek Kannan

Vivek Kannan is a seasoned mental health counselor with extensive experience since 2014 at Kingsley House and Northshore Counseling and Wellness, where responsibilities include providing individual and group therapy to diverse age groups. In addition to counseling, Vivek serves as the Head Counselor at ReNEW Cultural Arts Academy, focusing on fostering a positive environment for students in grades K through 8. Prior roles include working as a Mental Health Counselor intern utilizing play and art therapy for children. Vivek also has a background in retail as a Wireless Consultant. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
