Marcus Newman

Marcus Newman is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in equity markets and electronic trading. Currently serving as Partner and EMEA Head of Equities at The Omerta Group since February 2021, Marcus previously held the position of Managing Director and Global Head of Electronic Markets at Sheffield Haworth from August 2014 to February 2021. With a strong foundation in executive search for electronic markets at Riversdale Consulting from 2003 to 2014, and prior roles in sales for Easybroker, NASDAQ, and Interactive Investor International, Marcus has developed a robust skill set in marketing electronic and algorithmic trading services, as well as market membership and data services across Europe. Marcus received education at Felsted School.
