Karl Crowley

Karl Crowley currently serves as the IKON Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships Manager at Kingspan Group, focusing on sustainability-focused innovation projects and strategic partnerships. Previously, Karl held the role of R&D Analytical Manager at the Kingspan IKON Innovation Centre, managing research projects and establishing a new materials laboratory. Prior experience includes serving as Technology Gateway Manager at MiCRA Biodiagnostics, where technical leadership was provided for sensor technology and materials development. Karl also worked at SmartKem Limited in various roles, including Customer Support Manager and Senior Formulation Scientist, and contributed to multiple research projects at Dublin City University, culminating in a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Technological University Dublin. A background in both research and practical applications in technology development is evident throughout Karl's career.
