Eduardo Sánchez-Carrión is a banking professional with more than 25 years experience with focus on Latin America. He is currently founder of 3XD Capital S.A.C., a firm providing local financial advisory, and co-founder of Independencia Asesores SGFI, a fintech online consumer lending company serving the underbanked population in Perú.
In addition, since early 2017 he serves as an independent board member for Scotiabank Peru S.A., full service bank owned by Bank of Nova Scotia, Profuturo AFP, a local private pension fund and Crediscotia, a consumer financing institution.
Prior to his current roles, Eduardo held different positions at Deutsche Bank AG in New York, Miami and Perú.
In 2008 Eduardo opened and led Deutsche Bank Peru S.A., a fully licensed and regulated local bank with operations on sales, trading and investment banking.
Eduardo acted as Deutsche Bank Peru’s Chief Country Officer and President of the Board until the end of 2016. Prior to this role, Eduardo was a Director at Deutsche Bank’s Private Wealth management team based in Miami, FL where he managed a book of Latin American private clients, and before that he was a member of Deutsche Bank’s Latin America Investment Banking team in New York, NY with a focus on debt capital markets and M&A.
Eduardo has an MS in Industrial Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management (’94). He is based in Lima, Perú.
