Mikko Bergman

Mikko Bergman has over twenty years’ experience in advising companies in complex M&A and capital raising transactions. Mikko is the Founder and Managing Partner of Summa Capital, a leading Corporate Finance advisory boutique in Finland.

Prior to founding Summa, Mikko was working for Deutsche Bank Investment Bank in London where he worked extensively with financial sponsors and technology companies covering the European market and for ABN Amro Investment Bank in Helsinki.

Since 2003 Summa Capital has provided first-class corporate finance services to numerous clients in international cross-border transactions as well as in domestic deals. Summa’ teams are formed by experienced specialists with a desire to deliver the best solutions to clients, who are publicly listed and private companies, private equity firms, public entities, family offices & institutional investors.

In addition to running Summa, Mikko is an active private equity and early-stage venture capital investor through his investment company Sompa Capital. In this role he is also on board of directors of several companies.

Mikko has MSc in Engineering from Aalto University, Helsinki and MBA from University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
