Peter Mayer

Peter Mayer is Founder and CEO of RockWood Advisory Partners, a financial services boutique consulting alternative asset management companies on capital raising, business development, executive recruitment and strategic initiatives.

Peter is also Partner, Head of Europe of Jensen Partners, a global executive recruitment firm specialising in the alternatives industry.

Peter serves as Senior Advisor to Truffle Invest, a fintech solutions company providing retail investors access to private markets funds. He is also an Advisory Board Member of Lodbrok Capital, a European credit opportunities fund manager and a Fund Director of MGG Investment Group, a US specialty finance lender.

Before engaging in the above activities in January 2020, Peter was a Partner at PJT Park Hill (previously part of Blackstone), where he headed the European hedge fund and credit businesses.

Prior to joining Park Hill in 2006, Peter was a Director in the Private Funds Group at Credit Suisse in London. Before the Private Funds Group, Peter headed the Emerging European Equity Sales team in London, having joined Credit Suisse in Prague in 1995.

Peter began his banking career in 1982 at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in New York, after graduating from Boston College in 1980 with a BA in Economics, cum laude.
