Praveen Bhandari

Praveen is a Managing Director and Executive Board Member at Sun Global Investments Limited (“Sun Global”).

Sun Global is an FCA-regulated financial services firm with offices in London & Dubai. The business of Sun Global span four verticals: (a) Wealth Management; (b) Investment Advisory & Management; (c) Corporate Finance (encompassing Capital Markets, Private Structured Financing and Special Situation transactions, with a regional focus primarily on CEEMA and the Indian Sub-Continent); and (d) Fixed Income Securities Trading.

Praveen joined the Sun Global platform in June 2020, prior to which he had a career spanning over 20 years in Investment Banking with a focus on Emerging Markets, Structured Finance and Client Solutions. At Deutsche Bank, Praveen’s most recent role was Head of EM Coverage for EMEA.

Prior to that he held various positions of responsibility in the Global Structuring Team such as Head of European Rates Structuring, Head of Global Liquidity Management Structuring and Co-head of EM Structuring (CEEMA).

Praveen has significant transactional experience across a wide spectrum of clients - Sovereigns, GREs, Central Banks, Corporates, Banks and FIs. Prior to DB, Praveen worked with International Finance Corporation in South Asia and with KPMG in their Assurance Practice.

Praveen has an MBA (PGDM) from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, is a Chartered Accountant and has an undergraduate degree from Mumbai University.
