Tom Son

After Tom graduated from the United States Military Academy (BS in Economics, 1994), he accumulated over 20-years of work experience in the US Army (5-years, Captain) and in the Investment Banking Industry (16-years, Managing Director), garnering wealth of leadership, management and finance skills.

During the 16-years in Investment Banking, Tom worked for Deutsche Bank (2008-2016) in South Korea, JP Morgan (2005-2008) in South Korea and Merrill Lynch (1999-2005) in Hong Kong.

At Deutsche Bank, he led the Capital Markets Treasury Solutions (CMTS) team, responsible for sales coverage of South Korean sovereign, corporate and bank clients and $100 million sales budget.

Desiring to pursue a career in the golf industry, Tom graduated from the Golf Academy of America in Carlsbad, CA in December 2017 as a Valedictorian (4.0 GPA) and currently is a General Manager of Arrowood Golf Course (www.arrowoodgolf.com) (June 2017) in Oceanside, CA, embarking on an executive management career in the golf industry.

In September 2019, he became a PGA as well as a CMAA Member. In December 2019, he was elected to the Board of Directors for the San Diego Chapter of the SCPGA.
