Beverly Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of industries. Beverly began their career in 2010 as a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 2011, Taylor joined Friday Night Glory as a Technical and Creative Director, a role they held until 2017. Simultaneously, from 2011 to 2020, they held various positions at the Institute for Comics Studies, including Director of Programming and Director of External Operations.
In 2013, Taylor became the Vice President at C H Taylor & Associates, where they served until 2016. Beverly then joined Kingston Brass in 2019 as a Merchandising Assistant, eventually progressing to become a Merchandise Manager and Retail Account Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Merchandising Director at Kingston Brass.
Throughout their career, Taylor has demonstrated a strong background in merchandising, account management, and leadership roles.
Beverly Taylor obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Visual and Critical Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, during the period of 2006 to 2009. Subsequently, they pursued further education at the same institution and received a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Visual and Critical Studies from 2010 to 2012.
